For Wives & Partners

You're not
asking for too much.

Most women who find this page are trying to make sense of something — either on behalf of their partner, or because their partner has already found this work. This page helps you quickly find what's relevant to where you are.

01

You're exploring this work on behalf of your partner

Many women land here because they are looking for help for their husband or partner — and trying to understand what options actually make sense.

You may be exhausted. You may have already tried counseling, communication tools, or "doing more." You may understand his wounds and still be running out of emotional safety.

This isn't a page designed to convince you to send your husband anywhere. It's here to help you understand the landscape — so you can decide what, if anything, feels right to bring forward.

Your partner has already found this work

Your husband is reading one of my books, listening to the podcast, or has joined — or is considering joining — the Masterful Men community. Maybe he's already had a coaching session.

For some women, this brings relief or hope. For others, it brings anxiety, uncertainty, or concern about what's changing and why. All of those reactions are reasonable.

This path is designed to give you real answers — not spin, not reassurance as a sales tactic — so you can understand what he's stepping into and stay grounded in yourself as things unfold.

You have questions about this work versus therapy

You may be wondering whether this is a clinical service, who qualifies someone to do this kind of work, or whether coaching is safe when therapy might seem more appropriate.

These are fair questions. This page addresses them directly — including a clearer look at what credentials do and don't guarantee, and why this approach may actually be the safest thing for your relationship.

Where the line with therapy is, and why it doesn't move

A Note

This work is not
adversarial to women.

I am a husband and father, and my own marriage has been tested in ways that forced me to confront the parts of me that were defensive, reactive, shut down, and emotionally unsafe.

I don't try to persuade a man toward a specific relationship outcome. I help men take ownership of themselves — their choices, their emotional presence, their internal life — in ways that strengthen, rather than destabilize, the relationships they value.

Many of the strongest advocates for this work are wives.
